ESG Statement from the CEO of IMS Worldwide Inc.

IMSW is committed to maintaining best-in-class Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards for ourselves, our employees and towards our customers.  In an effort to categorize and quantify these efforts, the following statements and objectives form our Core Beliefs in ESG protocols.

IMSW has been at the forefront of environmental stewardship for over 40 years. The entire office recycles 100% of the paper, plastic and other reusable items received and/or created by our efforts.  We added smart thermometers provided by CenterPoint Energy as a pilot project of their latest technology in 2020. We adhere to our Fortune 100 clients’ requirements from the initiation of each contract.

IMSW was certified by the SBA as a Minority 8A contractor.  We are 100% owned by Indian/Asian Americans, and our total employment consists of 50% minorities from over four different minority categories:

  • Indian/Asian – 1
  • Southeast Asian – 1
  • African American – 1
  • Hispanic – 3

There are a total of seven managers/executives, with four being Anglo-Saxon and three non-whites.  Of the executive managers, three are women.

IMSW’s board and advisory board includes a woman, two minorities and multi-skilled professionals as members.  Executives provide annual reviews and bonuses to our employees, and multiple team-building experiences with employees to maintain and heighten employee morale.

IMSW is a US Customs consultant, and as such, we maintain the highest levels of IT security, secure data storage, and file storage as if our office was located within a Foreign-Trade Zone.  All files are purged after seven years, (two years longer than required to maintain full levels of integrity for our clients) which are recycled in sealed recycling bins and monitored for shredding and disposal.  We utilize cutting edge IT/email/cloud storage protocols, monitored and maintained by a reputable third party.  Updates occur monthly and to date, no data or security breaches have occurred in our 45-year history.  We have a strict employee no-tolerance policy for phishing, personal email or web usage from the office or using office emails for any personal use.

IMSW’s particular consulting requires the execution of NDAs for each and every customer, and for over 45 years there has never been a breach of data and never been a lawsuit filed against the firm.  IMSW prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of data, branding and technical confidentiality for ourselves and our clients.  All of IMSW’s senior managers have been Customs/FBI background checked, and our CEO has been COAC background checked and approved by DHS for more detailed and secure information.
